- shoot in raw+
- makes "processing" much quicker
- still have dngs for any that need attention
- need to take the time to get jpg settings right
- sorta makes it a glorified P&S, which is sorta how I'm using it
- 60gb of flash was way excessive - the 2 16s would have sufficed
- so far, could have just taken the 18-55 and been ok
- shooting from the hip is fun/interesting - uwa + f8 FTW
- eeepc invaluable - can't imagine going through this volume of shots (>100/day. ~5000 total) once I get back
- could have probably just used an lx-3 for the whole trip, though don't regret the K-7
- old age is scary
- people are just amorphous asexual bags of flesh
- tatt00s age better than I'd thought
- silicon implants... do not
- 'green' mode is awesome for handing the camera over - overrides all of my custom settings (esp useful is AF on half press)
- Jeremy is a better photographer than I am
